Set up before your next shift

1. Create your company at app.ponchi.app. You get a 5-digit Company ID.
2. Add your location with its address and geofence, and your positions.
3. Add your team. Each person signs in with the Company ID, a username and a PIN.
4. Build the week, publish it, and you are running.

Questions restaurant owners ask

Do my staff need to install anything?

They can use the free Ponchi app on iPhone or Android, or you can put one tablet at the host stand or kitchen as a shared kiosk where staff clock in with a PIN.

How do night shifts that end after midnight work?

Enter them as one shift, for example 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The shift stays on the day it starts, shows +1d on the end time, and the hours are counted across midnight.

Can servers and bartenders swap or give away shifts?

Yes. A swap waits for the coworker to accept and then for a manager. A given-away shift stays the owner’s responsibility until someone takes it and a manager approves, or the manager hands it to someone directly.

Is my team tracked all day?

No. Location is only checked at the moment of clock-in and clock-out. Ponchi never tracks anyone in the background.

Does it work in Spanish?

Yes. Every screen exists in English and Spanish, and each employee chooses their own language.
